People come from afar to view the houseboats at the Riverbank Moorings in Shoreham, mostly because of the creations of artist Hamish McKenzie such as Verda which has a old coach including its wheels as part of the superstructure. He creates his houseboats completely out of boat wrecks, the contents of scrapyards and anything useful that has been discarded.

There around 40 residential moorings which are freehold on the Riverside Moorings. There are also some moorings on the other side of the river in a boatyard behind the old Sorting Office which are rented out on a monthly basis.

These pages are provided by Floating Homes Limited to showcase the moorings we have visited in England. We do not own any of them and if we have a contact we supply it.
